AICE Media Studies intro blog

 I am doing my project alone this time. One of the reasons I am doing the project alone is because the group I worked with the first time was not the nicest so I realized I would rather just work alone. After that, I just did not work with anyone else after. I do not really know anyone in AS level media because all of my friends are in "A." I am okay with working alone though because I am very creative. Now I get to expand my creativity and use my own ideas without anyone opposing to them. I also get to create my own work and practice thinking skills. There are actually many bright sides to working alone, because you do not have to depend on others to do the work or wait on anyone to do their part. Kids often procrastinate, so it can be easy to worry about your partners finishing the work. Another good thing about working alone is you can work when you want to. I am busy with work, sports, school, self care, and family already, so my schedule can be difficult to work around.

  Hi, I am Isabel D'Onofrio and I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School.  I took AICE Media Studies this year because I want to learn about film and understand what happens behind the scenes. When watching a movie I feel as if people limit their thoughts to only the actors and not what is happening around them. When I watch a movie, I am always curious as to how the crew and actors do certain things or get certain angles. I think about how they do stunts and special affects. I would like to have a deeper understanding on what is going on. I what to understand why the director chose a certain lighting or camera angle. I want to be able to feel and understand the film that I am watch in all aspects. I think that filming is another form of art. I would like to expand my creativity in new ways. Taking AICE Media Studies will help me with that .  I am very excited to start this project because I feel like it would help me express my creativity and I am always looking for new ways t
