final music video

  The process of making this music video was a long and difficult process. Now that it is finished, it feels as if a huge weight is lifted off of my shoulders. I feel like I have been putting pieces together and building it up for months. Putting the final touches on this weekend definitely relieved tons of stress I had. Since I did it alone, I feel like I had to discipline myself a lot to keep going and it got really tough. Most things I had never done before. I have barely used iMovie and I also am pretty new to editing. I dreaded this project all up until I got to film it and that part was fun because I had my best friend, Camille help me and she made me a lot less worried because she is very useful and extremely tech smart. It would have been so hard to do this without here so I am grateful she could help me. I learned how to split the song and use certain sections, I learned how to do certain cuts and transitions. filming outside

 Today was an easy day to film because we did not have too much to film. We were just trying to clean some stuff up and film some other scenes again that needed to be perfected because our scenes looked good for the most part but then they were not the best that they could be. We wanted them to be at their full potential so we were trying to fix the little things that needed perfection. In some scenes the lighting or coloring would be off and in others we were accidentally making silly faces. Another flaw is that people would wear different outfits and they were supposed to be wearing the same ones to portray the same character. So we changed clothes and filmed them the way they should be. Today was relaxing because we did not have to be in the huge class of people and we got to go outside. We got to do our own thing while still getting work done. While we were filming, there was a bunch of other people who would walk passed us so I was making friends at the same time I was working...

 For this task, I knew editing was going to be fun. Since I know more about editing now than I did before, I think my editing has progressed since I have edited more now and it only gets better with practice. For this task I had planned to do more special effect editing, not too crazy, but since it was Freaky Friday I was gonna try and edit cool lightning and things like that. Editing took a lot longer than expected because I had to cut several clips and sometimes I cut them a bit short so we even had to refilm some clips. The music aspect also took a while as well. The music I was trying to use would not download and I was experiencing issues with my phone. I learned to use iMovie on my phone because when I first started this class, I did not own a computer to edit it on. Since that is what I learned on, it just makes things less difficult to edit on my phone because my computer also experiences difficulties as well. I am familiar with my phone, so I edit on there.
