filming outside

 Today was an easy day to film because we did not have too much to film. We were just trying to clean some stuff up and film some other scenes again that needed to be perfected because our scenes looked good for the most part but then they were not the best that they could be. We wanted them to be at their full potential so we were trying to fix the little things that needed perfection. In some scenes the lighting or coloring would be off and in others we were accidentally making silly faces. Another flaw is that people would wear different outfits and they were supposed to be wearing the same ones to portray the same character. So we changed clothes and filmed them the way they should be. Today was relaxing because we did not have to be in the huge class of people and we got to go outside. We got to do our own thing while still getting work done. While we were filming, there was a bunch of other people who would walk passed us so I was making friends at the same time I was working. Now I have more friends to see in the hallway. I am really extroverted so I need people to be happy which is not good because sometimes I become dependent on others. I love being around people so that is why I have a job and go to school and after school activities.

 For the last week I was sick so I was not in school. We have a group chat for our project where my group mates would tell me what was going on so I would not be completely clueless. I was not really on my phone because of how sick I was because I was like passing out and stuff so I was basically bed ridden.   While planning everything, I realized that my original idea was not realistic. I did not time everything correctly so now I was pressed for time. The original idea of having an action movie did not really appeal to me anymore because of the circumstances. Even though it sounded really fun, it would have taken a lot more work, time, and planning. This meant a new genre, luckily we researched many genres and I had a cool idea. I knew I wanted to have a theme like a decade theme, I just did not know how to make it a story. Sometimes I will have a creative block where I sit there unable to think of anything. When it finally opens up, a ton of ideas run through my head and my mind goes racing a million miles an hour. I thought maybe I could do action still, but just with three characters. film review

 The film process was very interesting and long. It feels like a weight has been taken off my shoulders.   I had many obstacles to overcome, but always found a solution even if it took a lot of thinking and some help from my friends Jenna and Jade. The whole process of making this final task really caused me to appreciate moviemaking more. It is fun but extremely time consuming and often very stressful, especially as a beginner. I did learn a lot. I learned that no matter how hard it is, you have to persevere and keep trying to find new ways out of tough situations and things like this take hard work and dedication, yet it is worth it in the end. In this project, I perfected my filming and editing skills and also exercised my creativity. I practiced shooting from different angles and trying new things like panning the camera.
