editing is complicated

 No one in my group knows how to edit which is extremely unfortunate. There is usually at least someone who knows how to do stuff with tech and I am never that person. I have tried to do stuff with tech but it is really confusing and miserable and hard. I hate my phone and internet and all things electronic as it is so the fact that I have to learn how to do all this pains me but maybe it will make me a tech person one day. I have never understood anything that has to do with electronics and it often takes a couple tries for me to understand. I still barely know how to use my social media apps and sometimes need guidance with those too. I really only use my phone for communication and music purposes which I think is better. My life becomes more simple when I only use it for those purposes plus it has been proven that social media is an extreme dopamine. My group and I are trying to watch youtube videos on editing to learn how and we are attempting but still do not really understand. I feel like Eden may figure it out because she seems smart and I feel like she picks things up quickly and understands concepts. We are all trying different apps and websites to see which has the best algorithm. Everyone in my group has their life together it makes me want to try harder. They all are super smart and in really good classes and they persevere and get the work done which motivates me as well.

 For the last week I was sick so I was not in school. We have a group chat for our project where my group mates would tell me what was going on so I would not be completely clueless. I was not really on my phone because of how sick I was because I was like passing out and stuff so I was basically bed ridden.   While planning everything, I realized that my original idea was not realistic. I did not time everything correctly so now I was pressed for time. The original idea of having an action movie did not really appeal to me anymore because of the circumstances. Even though it sounded really fun, it would have taken a lot more work, time, and planning. This meant a new genre, luckily we researched many genres and I had a cool idea. I knew I wanted to have a theme like a decade theme, I just did not know how to make it a story. Sometimes I will have a creative block where I sit there unable to think of anything. When it finally opens up, a ton of ideas run through my head and my mind goes racing a million miles an hour. I thought maybe I could do action still, but just with three characters.  The film process was very interesting and long. It feels like a weight has been taken off my shoulders.   I had many obstacles to overcome, but always found a solution even if it took a lot of thinking and some help from my friends Jenna and Jade. The whole process of making this final task really caused me to appreciate moviemaking more. It is fun but extremely time consuming and often very stressful, especially as a beginner. I did learn a lot. I learned that no matter how hard it is, you have to persevere and keep trying to find new ways out of tough situations and things like this take hard work and dedication, yet it is worth it in the end.
