plan the music video

 The song title is "Pursuit of happiness" by Kid Cudi featuring MGMT and Ratatat. One prop I am using is disco ball. In some of the scenes the girl is dancing around at a party with a disco ball and having fun with all of her friends. So that is why I am using the disco ball as a prop. In the party scenes the main character will be wearing sparkly and fun things that you would wear to a party, so party attire. All of her friends will be there dancing with her and she will be trying to distract herself from her sadness and everything she is dealing with at home. The overall vibe will be fun and happy. The party scene will be in a room with fun lights and decorated as if it was a real party. In the sad scenes the girl will be outside alone or in her room alone and the props will be "sleeping pills" which are just medication that I normally take but on the bottle it will say sleeping pills because in the sad scenes she has insomnia. She will be wearing baggy clothing and will be showing different coping methods such as listening to music, walking around the neighborhood, and working out. Other methods that will be shown are trying to sleep, drawing how she is feeling, journaling, throwing things, trying to talk it out with her friends on the phone. The overall vibe will be sad and lonely and will show how hard it is to escape what she is feeling. Each scene will alternate based on the lyrics in the song, based on  what the lyrics are saying. Some scenes will be in slow motion if a more dramatic effect is wanted. The sad scenes will be in black and white and aimed to be more dramatic and the fun ones will be in bright filtered color with lots of different colors. The scenes will also alternate based on what instrumentals the background has such as piano or guitar. I will aim to do most scenes in slow motion but I need to figure out how to edit first so I will be spending lots of time on that and figuring out the timing of everything. I might need to switch it up though, so it is not as boring. I am going to see how it all works out at the end.
