Filming and working together

 Today we filmed and I did not have to be in any of the scenes. So I just helped film the scenes and came up with ideas on how to make it more creative. One of the security guards came out and helped us film some of our scenes too because he wanted to be in it. He was really funny and he helped us a lot by helping us think things through logically. It was so hot out and we were sweating. Some people in the group kept getting distracted or being bossy so that was really annoying. Especially the bossy part. Some people in my group were being mean too and they were complaining which was also annoying. I learned to not let it phase me and I kept going and tried not to say anything that would have started an argument. In the end we resolved most of the issues but my group is still kind of bossy and they are aggravated a lot. It is okay, this is teaching me to be cooperative and making me stronger and better at dealing with people. I cannot tell if they are joking or not when they are being bossy because sometimes it comes off as that. In the end we all still have fun while filming and get the work done efficently, I feel as if we will get a good grade so I am happy with this experience and it taught me a lot.

 For the last week I was sick so I was not in school. We have a group chat for our project where my group mates would tell me what was going on so I would not be completely clueless. I was not really on my phone because of how sick I was because I was like passing out and stuff so I was basically bed ridden.   While planning everything, I realized that my original idea was not realistic. I did not time everything correctly so now I was pressed for time. The original idea of having an action movie did not really appeal to me anymore because of the circumstances. Even though it sounded really fun, it would have taken a lot more work, time, and planning. This meant a new genre, luckily we researched many genres and I had a cool idea. I knew I wanted to have a theme like a decade theme, I just did not know how to make it a story. Sometimes I will have a creative block where I sit there unable to think of anything. When it finally opens up, a ton of ideas run through my head and my mind goes racing a million miles an hour. I thought maybe I could do action still, but just with three characters. film review

 The film process was very interesting and long. It feels like a weight has been taken off my shoulders.   I had many obstacles to overcome, but always found a solution even if it took a lot of thinking and some help from my friends Jenna and Jade. The whole process of making this final task really caused me to appreciate moviemaking more. It is fun but extremely time consuming and often very stressful, especially as a beginner. I did learn a lot. I learned that no matter how hard it is, you have to persevere and keep trying to find new ways out of tough situations and things like this take hard work and dedication, yet it is worth it in the end. In this project, I perfected my filming and editing skills and also exercised my creativity. I practiced shooting from different angles and trying new things like panning the camera.
