group

 Hi, I am Isabel D'Onofrio. My group is Britanique Simpson, Eden Wright, and Ashleigh Miller. I met them at freshmen orientation with the exception of Eden. I wanted to be in their group because they sit near me and I turned around and just asked. They all seem hard-working and determined. They also all seem very smart because I have overheard some of their conversations and they are intellectual. Britanique will be the scriptwriter and editor because she seems techy and smart like that. Ashleigh is the scriptwriter because she is creative and she wanted to be. Eden is the storyboard because she is really artsy and was in AP art class. I am the person who films because my hands stayed the steadiest when we auditioned for who would film. Each of us is really hardworking so I know we will get the project done. I know we will complete it well too. We all have been thinking aloud and have good ideas that we can all agree on. The whole group is extremely creative and each of us are contributing even amounts too. I have a good feeling about this project and I know we will succeed. I love everyone in my group because they are really nice and helpful. Some groups would just ignore me if I had questions but they’re really nice to me and always help me because I get confused.

 For the last week I was sick so I was not in school. We have a group chat for our project where my group mates would tell me what was going on so I would not be completely clueless. I was not really on my phone because of how sick I was because I was like passing out and stuff so I was basically bed ridden.   While planning everything, I realized that my original idea was not realistic. I did not time everything correctly so now I was pressed for time. The original idea of having an action movie did not really appeal to me anymore because of the circumstances. Even though it sounded really fun, it would have taken a lot more work, time, and planning. This meant a new genre, luckily we researched many genres and I had a cool idea. I knew I wanted to have a theme like a decade theme, I just did not know how to make it a story. Sometimes I will have a creative block where I sit there unable to think of anything. When it finally opens up, a ton of ideas run through my head and my mind goes racing a million miles an hour. I thought maybe I could do action still, but just with three characters. film review

 The film process was very interesting and long. It feels like a weight has been taken off my shoulders.   I had many obstacles to overcome, but always found a solution even if it took a lot of thinking and some help from my friends Jenna and Jade. The whole process of making this final task really caused me to appreciate moviemaking more. It is fun but extremely time consuming and often very stressful, especially as a beginner. I did learn a lot. I learned that no matter how hard it is, you have to persevere and keep trying to find new ways out of tough situations and things like this take hard work and dedication, yet it is worth it in the end. In this project, I perfected my filming and editing skills and also exercised my creativity. I practiced shooting from different angles and trying new things like panning the camera.
